Millicent & Arnold was founded in 2011 when I was made redundant from work & had the time to pursue my passion, sewing!

 

I have been sewing for over 30 years, I started out making my own clothes, then making clothes for my daughters. And now I make clothes for their children. I have sewn everything from leggings, cosmetics bags and even a wedding dress for a dog! The only thing I won’t touch, is curtains. 

 

Markets have always been where i’ve sold my products, but lockdown has found me moving onto an online platform , I started in March 2020 taking donations of bedding to make scrub bags for NHS workers. This quickly moved on to creating face masks in early June, I’ve worked with a local wildlife charity to raise money from the face masks which was so successful we sold out within a matter of weeks!

 

Our inventory is constantly growing and now includes more than just children’s clothing. We have a wide selection of adult sizes too! With new collections coming out every season, you’ll always be able to find something special for your family.
